The Polynomial.exe Application is a Polynomial Equation Solver suitable for the IBM PC Windows 98/ME/2000/NT/XP/Vista environment.

After having downloaded and unzipped the Polynomial.exe Application, extract the application to a suitable folder on your hard disc. Double click on the Polynomial.exe file icon to bring up the dialogue panel.

Alternatively, create a short-cut icon on your main Desktop display, that points to the Polynomial.exe file and double click on that icon to obtain the dialogue panel.

Type the coefficients of each power of X into the writable slots on the dialogue panel and then click on the 'Get Roots' icon. Polynomial.exe then returns the Roots (Solutions) of the Equation in the appropriate slots.

Read the 'ReadMe1st.txt' file present in the zipped file for more information on the different versions available, and the copying and running of them.
