The !RomanCalc Application is a Roman Numeral Desktop Calculator/Translator suitable for the RISC OS Wimp environment.

After having downloaded and unzipped the !RomanCalc Application, drag the application to a suitable directory on your hard disc. Double click on the !RomanCalc file icon load the icon onto the icon bar.

Left-clicking on the bar icon causes the main 'SetUp' panel to be displayed.

Type two operands and an operator into the writable slots on the panel in Roman Numerals and then click on the 'Calculate' button. !RomanCalc then returns the answer to the calculation (in Roman Numerals) in the 'Result' slot.

There is also a 'Memory' facility, which stores away the 'Result' value, which also can be added to, subtracted from, multiplied by and divided into the current 'Memory' value.

In this application both the Operands and the Result, can be Incremented/Decremented by One, by clicking on buttons to the side of each slot.

There is also a facility that enables the user to translate/convert backwards and forwards between the decimal representation of a number and its Roman equivalent.

Read the 'ReadMe1st' file present in the zipped file for more information on the functions that all the buttons on the 'SetUp' panel perform.

Additional Help is obtainable from the bar icon menu (Click 'MENU' over it), or by using !Help, present in your 'Apps' directory.
