!QuineMcC - Determination of Simplest Boolean Logical Expression from Truth Table (Karnaugh Map)
=============================================================================

Having unzipped the supplied File, drag the !QuineMcC application to a suitable directory on your Disc.

Double-click over its Icon to load the Icon onto the icon bar. Left-clicking on the bar icon brings up a 'SetUp' panel, showing a Truth Table (Karnaugh Map) for the Logic Function you wish to Simplify. Click over the Cells of the Table to Toggle their Values from 0 (False) to 1 (True), and back again.

Having Set Up your Table, clicking on the 'Calculate' button causes a Window to be displayed showing the Simplest Boolean Expression for your Truth Table, (By using Quine-McCluskey Method).

In Boolean Algebra, the Symbol '~' means NOT, a dot, '.', means AND, and a '+' means OR.

The Capitals, A, B, C and D are the logical variables taking either a TRUE (1) or FALSE (0) Value.

The 'Canonical' Form is a series of ANDed expressions (with NOTs), which are ORed together.

Menus are available from the Bar Icon, the 'SetUp' Panel, and the Help Window.
